LO SLUNG PUT FINAL TOUCHES TO ALBUM.
Lo Slung: WTF?
24 March 2007
Lo Slung have just about finished mixing their debut album (The New Black) in London with legendary mix engineers / producers Jason Howes (Faithless, Moby, Petshop Boys, Dido) and are beginning final mixes with Nick Terry (Klaxons, Libertines) in the next week. You can see footage of Jason in action on the Lo Slung You Tube dumping ground via the links page.

The guys are now ramping up to the release of the album in the UK and Oz later in 2007. Single Pretty (feat. Coco Electrik) can be found as the Single of The Week in Timeoff, Impress and on various blog spots around the globe. 2007 should be a corker!

TIM REID AT INTERNATIONAL POP OVERTHROW FESTIVAL LIVERPOOL
IPO Founder David Brash & Tim at The Cavern Club
20 May 2006
Tim Reid has been accepted to perform as the sole Australian representative at the International Pop Overthrow (or IPO, as it has affectionately become known) pop music festival in the UK leg at the world famous Cavern Club in Liverpool (the spiritual "home of the Beatles").

IPO has been held for the past eight years in Los Angeles, and more recently in Chicago, New York, Boston, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Nashville and San Francisco.

According to the IPO website and IPO festival founder and organiser, the purpose of International Pop Overthrow is two-fold: one aim is to give every worthy band who'd like to play their music in a festival atmosphere the chance to do so, and the other is to bring pop music the attention it so richly deserves.

Tim will be joined by Nathan Hale for the shows at the cavern on the 25th and 26th of May. For further info see: www.internationalpopoverthrow.com
